Product Information
- Dosage (Adults): The usual dose is 1 tablet daily in the morning. In more severe cases, the dose may be increased to 2 tablets daily, taken in the morning and at noon. It is not recommended at bedtime due to the risk of insomnia.
- Precautions: Deanxit® should be avoided in patients with severe cardiovascular disorders, untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, or a history of seizures. It is not recommended for children, and caution is advised when prescribing to elderly patients.
- Side Effects: Common side effects may include dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, or mild sleep disturbances. In rare cases, movement disorders may occur due to the flupentixol component.
